OBSCURE was founded by Claire Uhar.
Claire’s career has been defined by early immersion in high-velocity, high-stakes environments—joining the founding team of a community platform that was acquired when she was just 21, and later leading strategy at creator-first product studios before “creator economy” became a mainstream term. She went on to hold strategic and commercial roles at EVERFI, a social impact tech company, and then helped launch Protocol (part of Politico Media Group), where she led strategic partnerships through the pandemic and its eventual acquisition by Axel Springer.
After more than a decade in the trenches as a founder and early-stage operator—including several successful exits—Claire launched OBSCURE to advise a portfolio of companies that are defining (and often inventing) entirely new industries.
